On ïuesday mornir.g, at an early hour. Miss Sarah D. Giles, of Fuller street, died of congestión of the brain. Miss Giles was taken ill on Sunday, at the residence of C. B. Davison, where she was taking dinner. She was taken home and gradually failed until death claimed her. The deceased was born at Marshall, in 1846, and eame to Ann Arbor with her parents when a few months old. She was in the employ of the Courier for over 26 years, and was one of the trusted employees of that office. Tlie funeral services were held at the residence yestenlay morning. On Monday, Miss Jane E. Brigham died at the residence of her nephew, John B. Moloney, in Detroit, of chronic bronchitis, aged 65 years. Miss Brigham was the d&ughter of Dr. Brigham, and a rnember of one of the old pioneer families of this city. Until a few years ago, Ann Arbor had been her home since childhood, she then going to Detroit to speml the remainder of herdays. MissBrigham was a woman well known and much beldved here, and in the early days ol Ann Arbor society, was a leader. Her remains were "brought here Wednosday morning, and afler services at St. Andrew's were placed in the faniiiy lot at Forest Hill cemetery.
