The Arkansas Traveler. The following is from the Reading (Pa.) Herald of Nov. 17th, regarding the play which appears at the Opera House on Tuesday evening: A delighted audience witnessed the production "Kit, the Arkansas Traveler," at the Grand last evening, and it was conceded thatChanfrau in the title role fully sustained the roputation made by his father years ago. The j)lay is said to be founded on facts and the judge and major really existed and lived in the localities designated in 1856-71. There is a vein of humor running through the piece, vviiich, while it does not take away any of the interest from the main tlnead of the plot, gives free scope for the introducción of a number of clever specialties by Little Edna and George Lirem. The Ideal quartette is one of the features of the production. Miss Augusta Vlartine as Alice Redding and Miss Louise Reming as Mrs. Washington Stubbs were capital, and Fred Palmer as the steward of the "Medora" was mmense.
