Annual Meeting Of The Fair Association

The annuál meeting oí the Washtenaw Comity Agricultural and Horticiitural Society was held at the court house, on Tuesday. Aiter opening the meeting, President Braun read his animal address to the society. The trea-surer's report was read, Irom whicii it appears that the receiptb atuomited to $3,422.47 and thé cur rent expenses $2,725.29, the iair netthig $697.18. The aoio-unt-of premiums paid was $1,455.92 During the year $993.11 was spent for permanent Improvements and for olc debts of the society, eaviug a deficit oí $295.93 at present. The society, learning oi the low conditioai of Treasurer Paul, passé tii tollowtng: "Resolved, That t'he thanks of th Washtenaw County Agricultural an Horticultural Society be and are here by tendered to its treasurer, Mr. II: ar Paul, for the faitüful mauner in wUílhe has attended to the financlal ii terests of the society. And be i furthar Resolved, That the saeiety learna with deep regret of the feeble condition of Treasurer Paul's Iiealth, and hereby extends its earnest sympathy to'him and expresses the hope that he m,iv be restored to health. Tlie society instructed H. S. Dean, chairinan oï ttoe auditing conimittee, to take charge oï tlie treasurer's accounts -and act as treasurer uutil the new treasurer has qualiiied.
