In Her Memory
Died, at Arm Arbor, on the evening oí November 26, 1891, suddenly of heart failure, Mrs. Amanda H. Taylor, wife of Jay C. Taylor, and eldest daughter of the late D. T. McCollum. Mrs. Taylor was lorn in Bergen, Genesee county, N. Y., on December 22, 1823. She lived for a time at le Roy, N. Y., and moved to Michigan with .her pareets in the fall of 1832. They settled near Ann Arbor and Mrs. Taylor was a resident of this city or vicinity for about 59 years. She . was married in September, 1844 to Jay C. Taylor, who survives her. Two ■ of their ehildren died in infancy. The ■ others are Mrs. Clark Cornwell, of Ypsilanti; Mrs. W. D. Green, of Kansas, City, Mc; Jay C. Taylor, jr., now at Minneapolis, Minn.; Mrs. Elmer E. Beach, of Chicago, 111.; and Walter L. Taylor, of this city.
