Mr. E. L. Alexandcr has nearly finished the addition to his house, which makes a very largo one. A school exhibition will be given at the school house on the plains next Friday night, to which all are invited. Invitations are out announcing the marriage of John Bird and Miss Gunnel, which will take place about Christraas. Many of the Webster people attended the lecture of Rev. T. De Win Talmage at University Hall, Friday evening. The young people who were iavited to a surprise party at Mr. D. Van Geson's, in Lodi, Friday night, report having a fine time.
