He visited the farms a bout the northc.rn part of tli county, selected the very best horses that he could find, aud agreed to purchase. He would then go to another armer and do the same, In this way visiling a dozen or more and arranging to purehase as uuuiy teams. Hr always enjoyed the hospitaüty of the farmers. He eiiddenly disappeared and has not been scen since.
