A Prominent Farmer Dies
Leopold Blaess, one of the most prosperous farmers of Wasbtenaw county, a short time ago became a victim of the grip, which finally resulted in pHeumonia, and his death, Wednesday. Mr. Blaess was boni in Wurtemberg, Germany, in 1831, and was educated at the University of Switzerland. líe carne to America in 1850, and after six years in the mining regions of Pennsylvania, settled on a piece of land which forms a portion of the present homestead. A wife and severa] chiklren survive him.
