[official I Office of tuk Uoaiidof Public Works, i Aks Aiibou, Micii., Jan. 20, 18Ü2. ) Regular meeting. Calledto order by President Keech. Roll called. Present: Messrs Keech, Schub, and Mclntyre. Minutes of previous meeting apaproved. To the Board of Public Works: The Comiïion Council has referred the following resolution to your body for action. Whereas, A system of sewerage fen the city, in the opinión of the Council, lias becorne a necessity and for sanitavy reasons is a necessary public improvernent, therefore. Resolved, Thai it is hereby declared to be the purpose of the Council, the people voting to raise the necessary money by tax therefor, to cause a suitable system of sewers for the city to be constructed without delay. Resolved fubthbr, That the subject matter of such sewerage system along with the last report of the committee on sewerage, be and the same is hereby referred to the Board of Public Works, with instructions to repori and advise the Council at an adjourned meeting tobe held on Monday the 25th instant, what in their opinión woulf' be the most suitable plan therefor ant submit specifications thereof ; also the kind. quality and amount of materia! necessary for, and the probable cost oi the construction of a niain sewer foi such proposed sewerage system. ïogether with the ïeport of the sewerage eoinmittee.
