Adam Spiegelberg, who has leased his farm, will leave for Ohio this week. H. Schiferstein and Will Taylor went to Northfield, Tuesday, on business. Hired help is quite scarce around Dexter. The wages are from $18 to $20 per month. Richard McQuillen, of Leslie, has sold his farm near North Lake to Thos. Agin, of Jackson. Gabriel Bockres, who had three ribs broken by a kicking horse, is seen out on the streets again. Wm. McQuillen has purchased a farm of 160 acres near Hamburg Janction and will soon move there. George Reid, who has been living near Howell, is coming back to work his farm after an absence of two years.
