W. D. Smith was in Detroit on Monday. John Gallagher made a business trip to Chelsea on Friday. Mr. Kelly and son, of Putman, visited in Dexter on Monday. J.-Bross, of Dexter Villiage, made a short visit here, Saturday. H. McCabe and T. Stanton both lost valuable horses last week. Miss Martha French was the guest of friends in Detroit last week. Mr. and Mrs. Byron Green spent Sunday with relatives in Webster. Miss Blanche Cushman spent several days with friends in Pinckney. William Asquith, of Stockbridge, spent several days with relatives here. Mrs. Wm. Sweetman and daughter are entertaining relatives from abroad. Supervisor Jedele has nearly finished making his assessments in this township. Miss Nellie Fleming attended the wedding of her cousin in Chicago last week. Mr. H. V. Newkirk and daughter, Nellie, of Luther, are visiting her parents here. Mr. and Mrs. A. Barber entertained their daughter, Minnie, from Willis, last week. Mrs. J. Walsh and Robert Henderson, of Silver Lake, spent Sunday with friends here. Miss Mary Story entertained twenty of her young friends on Saturday afternoon, it being her fourteenth birthday. Miss Maggie Gallagher, of Dexter Village, formerly of this place, was united in marriage to Mr. Robert Honey on Tuesday morning at St. Joseph's rectory, Rev. Fr. Fleming officiating. May rnuch happiness attend them is the wisfa of their many friends.
