W. E. Steavenson can plant 20 acres of corn in a day with his two horse planter. It takes two men and does good work. J. L. Watts is potato buying again. Fruit of all kinds is in full bloom now. The largest blow out ever known. W. H. Glenn and wife attended the club meeting of the farmers of Webster the i4th, at Mrs. Chamberland's. The farmers of Webster are up with the times. E. C. Glenn returns to Marquette next week. Miss Mattie Glenn has a nice new piano. Your scribe has done little or no writing of late on account of a broken finger and other hinderances, a lack of news among the greater. Fred Glenn is expected home from Marquette next week. Miss Tirzah Twamley goes to Detroit this week to visit reïatives. Mr. Sweeney and wife arrived safely in Dakota.
