Honoring The Heroes
JJecoration day was properly obsevved Monday under the uispices of Welen Post, G. A. E. In the morning committees from the post decorated the graves of their deadcomrades with flowers. In the afternoon exercises were held at üniversity Hall. The program there given consisted of patriotic songs by the S. C. A. quaitette, accompamed by Emil Baur, jr.; readng of scriptures and invocation by Kev. Eev. J. T. Snnderkuid: a recitation, '-The Frontier Veteran to Ilis Grandson," by Miss Clara Keny on, and an address by Capt. E. P. Allen, of Ypsilanti, pronounced by all who heard it the best that he had ever deliVered.
