Mcpherson-rathbone Wedding

The Genera Telegraph luis the fol. lowing notice of the McPherson-Rathbone wedding, wliich took place at Geneva, Switzerland, the 26th of June last: A very pretty wedding took place shoïtly alter noon on Thursday in the American churcli, when Miss Georgia Adams Rathbone was married to.John flansou Thomas McPherson. Tlie lïev. W. S.Adamson, rector of tbe American church, oflieiated in person. There was a goodly sprinkling of spectators, for the most part ladies, and the altar was tastefully decorated for the occasion. Tlie wedding party subsequently repaired to the Hotel Ilichemond, where oreakfast was served at one o'clock. Among other guests present were Roland iïemmick, U. S. Consul, the llev. J. W. and Mrs. Adamson, Captain and Mrs. Stokesboyd, Mrs. Brent and family, Mrs. Alian, Miss Hartsorne, the Misses Lee, etc. In mentioning the wedding under another heading the same paper says: The wedding in the American church on Thursday was remarkable for siraplicity and good taste, that the bridegroom belongs to an old Maryland family; that the bride's costume was both rich and elegant, and that altogethei tlie ceremony was a very elegant little affair.
