Superior Grange, ro. 68, auopted tue following preamble and resolutions on the death of Eva Conklin, at a meeting held August 19th: Superior Grange No. 68, has again been called to mourn the death of a dearly loved sister, Miss Eva Conklin, who died at her home in Superior, July llth, 1892, aged 17 years. A light from the houaehold isgone. A voioe we loved is stilled; A place is vacant at home Whlch never can be fllled. Whereas, The Almighty, in His love and wisdom, has seen fit to remove from our midst our beloved sister, Eva Conkliu, and Whereas, We have lost in her death a true and faithful niember. Therefore be it Resolved, That while we bow with submission to the high command, it is with deep regret that we have to part with her, whom to know was to love and respect. Resolved, That we extend our lieartfelt sympathy to her family in this their hour of sorrow and afliictiou, and aiso oe ii Resolved, That our charter be draped in mourning for thirty days, and that a copy of these resolutions be sent to the bèreaved family. Her Ufe was short but great her pain Before she took her heavenward ilight, Away f rom earthly pain and strll'e, lip to that world of life and light. One more chair is vacant now Among the little household band, But oae more soul has joined the throng That's gone to rest ia glory land. While here our hearts are wreathed in glbom Because bereft of one we love. Eva is in her heavenly home. Where all Is joy wlth God auove. 'Tis hard for us with heart to say, Tliy will, not mine, O Lord, be douel But we submlt to thy deeree, Bince, by our loss, a crown ehe's won. The Lord, our God, 'tis He hath given, The Lord it is hath ealled away; All blessed be His holy name, We soon shall meet in endless day.
