Crimson Clover
Crimson clover has attracted great attention in the soath during the past three or f our years, but its true merits are still iu doubt. So far it has not-given a good erop at this station, though it is valued highly at the Carolina station ,,aud at the Florida station has giveu one immense erop followed by two failures. Under favorable cireuinstances it inakes a very vigorous winter growth and affords good grazing or soiling, but in niany cases only a scattering stand ia secured and the plants are weak ná 6ickly. We cannot recowrnend it for cultivltion in this state until we know more of its needs and valué as a ative erop
