Last Saturday evening George Grenville, a painter of this city shot Jacob Anspaugh in the arm. The two went in a barber shop to gether. Grenville urged Anspaugh to go down to Ypsilanti with him but was refused. Anspaugh left the shop but Grenville followed him, ordering him to return, and shot him ia the arm. The bullet was not found in a long time. Grenville claims it was an accident, but the pistol used is not a self-cocking one. He was immediately arrested and placed under S5po bonds to appear for examination before Justice Pond next Tuesday.
