Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Morgan are happy. Oct. 6th, a son. Miss L. Crippen teaches this fal in the school house on the moto line. The Pittsfield Union Sunda school gave a social at the residenc of M. M. Carpenter last Kriday evening, which was well attended. Mr. S. A. Morgan celebrated the completion of his fine new barn by giving a dance in it, Friday, Oct. 7th. Mrs. Dora Reese, of Davenport, Iowa, was here to attend 4he funeral of her brother, Wm. Standbridge, who was killed by an accident sth Oct. School Commissioner Cavanaugh visited the school in this district last week. Town Clerk J. M. Webb will canvas the town to re-register votes. The Democrats raised a fine pole at Nordman's Corners. Mr. J. F. Webb is taking a post gradúate course in the law departrflent this year.
