On Saturday morning last about nine o'clock, the happy spirit or Mrs. Cara S.' Randall was rcfeasèd trom all suffeijng. Mrs. Randall was the only daughte.r ot 'Ndson M. and Elizabeth E. if, of this city, and had passed , iuoíjI ol lier life in Arm Arbor, Afaduating from the High School she speöt somc time at ■ii, stndying ui ,uting. In September, i was marrii-d to Herbert RaödijH and fiii yeai's lived ai '-. h,ss. 1882, Mr. and Mrs. Randall re l to Ann Arbnr, where they li;u e made thetr home. Mrs. Run, l'lall possessed a rcniarkably bright, rand happy disposition, and was very halented and accomplislu-d lioih'in Imusic and painting. She was i valued member of the Ann Arbor Art Club. In August, 1S90; :-while visiting in Massachusctts, she suf fered a severe attack of ppritonitis, JErom which she never fully recovered. Her parents and husband have ilhe heartfelt sympathy of many friends in their sad bereaveraent, and they have the grcat comfort of knowing that nothing that could give her comfort or relief in her Wiffering was feft undone. The funeral took place at the home of her parents on Monday' afternoon, Rev. Ilenrjr Tatlock ofh'ciating. Mrs. Randall's death was a great i shoc k to her friends who had enterlaiucd strong hopes of her ultimatu ery. Hut, in the words of tluprfce- Bishop Marris, "these a shadow land to tis; a is a world with which we are connected and in which we have an interest, and our hearts are drawn to the 'sweet and blessed country' where our treasure is. Our dead are 'not lost, but gone before,' and so we gladly follow after." "Weeping may endure for the night, but joy cometh in the morning" when "The nlght ís gono And with the morn those angel facos emlle Which we have loved lontf since and lost awhile."
