Three tramps who had just been let ut of jail, were arrested by Sheriff Jrenner and his deputies, last Friday, or stealing from various stores, inluding a shirt from Mills & Co. They ave their names as Edward Miller, Villiam Butler, and Probasco, without front name. Deputy Sheriff Martin ore to seeing the tramps steal the lirt at half past three in the afteroon. The tramp who had the shirt on )leaded guilty but askedto be sworn. Ie said he didn't deDy stealing the biirt, but he wás positive Martin didn't ee it, because he stole the shirt at nine o'clock in the morning. He made an impassioned demand that Martin be prosecutetf tor lying. Two of the tramps were given sixty-flve days in the Detroit House of Correction.
