Death of a Washtenaw Pioneer.
Richard Walsh, a well-known and highly respected resident of Webster died at his home of pneumonia, January 26, aged eighty-three years. He was born in Ireland and carne to this country when seventeen years of age. In 1836 he carne to Michigan and located on a farm in Dexter township, where he resided until 1853, when he removed to Webster. He was married in 1837 to Miss Mary Doody, who with several sons survive him. He was a man of the utmost integrity, with a warm heart. The funeral services were held in Dexter, Monday.
