Miss Blount will take the place of Mr. Kroeze and eulogize Phillips, Brooks. Miss Rebecca Finch has been chosen to fill a vacancy on the Bulletin board. The annual S. C. A. election occurs on the last Wednesday evening of March. Prof. Knowlton will commence his series of lectures for the S. CA. about March i . Prof. Thompson began his lectures on Equity Jurisprudence to the senior laws Wednesday. The regular meeting of the Hahnemannian Society has been postponed to Friday of next week. The anniversary exercises of the S. C; A. 'will take place one week from next Friday and Saturday. The medies have quite generally been vaccinating themselves and friends during the small-pox scare. Pres. Angelí did not meet his class in International Law, yesterday, but will meet it regularly next week. A new International dictionary has been placed in Newberry hall to rtll the place of the one rècently stolen. Dr. Markley's Calculus class has finished the work allotted to this semester and begun that of next semester. Delos F. Wilcox has been chosen editor-in-chief of the S. C. A. Bulletin, in place of Miss Gertrude Buck, resigned. Died September 13, 1892, at Lake Mills, Iowa, Cyrus G. Phelps, L. L. B. Class of '79, member of Phi Kappa Psi fraternity. Mr. Foster, '94 medie, has been out of school several days, owing to injuries received in the rush last week at the medical building. H. D. Jewell, P. G. law '92 has coatributed an article upon "Redemption" for the "American and English Encyclopedica of Law." Rev. J. T. Sunderland will begin a course of evening sermons, his subject being "The Great Labor Problem and its Proposed Solution. ' ' Six hundred and fifty students have registered in the law department this year: 272 juniors 282 seniors, 70 one-year men and 25 P. G. Henry Watterson's lecture, Saturday evening, will undoubtedly be of special interest to the Press Club. Mr. Watterson is editor of the Louisville Courier-Journal. Prof.Scott will lecture on "Art" at the Unity club, Monday evening. There will be stereopticon views of of ancient and modern works of art, and E. N. Bilbie will sing. Mr. Lloyd will give a course next semester entitled, "The Philosophy of Religión." This will be a one hour course, and those desiring to take it must rnake arrangements with Mr. Lloyd. Prof. McLaughlin has proposed a new plan for'second semester work in VonHolst. Instead of using Vol. II. of VonHolst's history, the plan is to procure duplícate copies of standard histories of the period under discussion, and iiave topics assigned to be studied from the different authorities. This plan is very practicable and seems to meet the general approval of the class.
