John Pacey visited Ann Arbor, Saturday. Mrs. G. Briggs is at Bay City for a few weeks. Chas. Lavey is on the sick list. H. Phelps was an Ann Arbor visitor, Wednesday. A. Deckert, of Owosso, has been visiting his parents. David Waite took a trip to Ann Arbor on Wednesday. The Reids entertained their cousins the first of the week. Mr. Clark, of Putnam, Spent Tuesday with his friends here. Thomas Radcliffe, of' New York, spent the past week with friends. Business called AVm. Gregory to the ccunty seat last Saturday. Mr. Bogg and family, of Grand Rapids, visited relatives the past week. Some of our young people attended the dance at Pinckney, Friday evening. James McCabe and mother visited with relatives in Northfield, Wednesday. The Baptist people gave a social it T. Snay's, Friday evening. Supervisor Jedele was in Ann ArDor on business, Saturday. Miss Eva Blades is here as the guest of her sister. Wm. Carpenter spent Sunday with relatives ia Pettysville. Mr. Thompson came home from Ann Arbor, last Friday evening. James Gregory has been entertaining a friend from MariĆ³n. Mrs. Curlett has been with her sister at Three Rivers for a few days. Mr. Brown, of Putnam, made us a cali on Tuesday. Mrs. James and a lady friend made a short cali on friends here, Saturday. Mrs. Cook spent severyl days of the past week with her many friends in Detroit. Mr. and Mrs. J. Parsons and son visited her parents in Podunk, Tuesday. The postoffice at Birkett has no mistress. Miss Olga Jedele has recovered from a severe attack of tonsillitis. The people turned out in goodly numbers, Friday evening, and attended the social at Levi Lee's, for I the benefit of the Congregational church.
