Lima
Mrs. Eliza Brink, of Coldwater, is visiting Mrs. J. J. Wood. Otto Luick returned Saturday from a week's visit in Monroe. The next grange meeting will be on Thursday, March 2nd, at Louis Freer's. O. C. Burkhart sheared 60 sheep this week, and sold 450 pounds of wool at 16% cents. The delegates from Lima to the convention, yesterday, were John Wade, Wm. Covert, Fred Frey, and E. B. Freer. Surprise parties seem to be the ad. There was one at Frank Fisk's, Wednesday night, one at A. Beach's Thursday night, and there will be one at O. B. Guerin's, tonight. Jacob Barris was drawing saw-logs the other day and while reaching around a tree to get a chain the sleigh slipped and struck his hand. It is possible that he may lose his hand.
