Musicale At President Angell's
The musicale given last Friday evening by the faculty of the School of Music, at the residence of Pres. AngelĂ was a most enjoyable and successful affair. The entertainment was for the decoration of the woman's building at the World's Fair. Many of Ann Arbor's leading citizens with their wives were present. Nearly all of the professors also attended. The next proceeds of the entertainment approximated $200. Miss Povey and Mrs. Hoff sang their solos successfully. The piano playing of Prof. Mills, and theviolin performances of Prof. Schmaal were especially artistic. Prof. Stanley's accompaniments were, as usual, good. In short the musicale was splendid throughout, such as only our popular School of Music faculty could give. It was quite a society event, many of the ladies being elegantly attired.
