The engineers and firemen on tbe Toledo, Ann Arbor and Nortk Michigan road have been out on a strike this week and none but mail trains have run over the road. There are three engines in the yards here partially dismantled. A passenger train ran off the track, Wednesday night, in the city, but this was caused by a washout and was not due to the strikers. The engineers and switchmen are backed up by their national organizations. The Ashleys claim to be able to run without the aid of union men, but so far have been unable to do so.
