Last night the Detroit Philharmonic Club gave the second Chamber Concert at Newberry Hall. The program, which included only music of the Romantic School, was rendered in a manner that defies the criticism of an amateur. So perfectly did the different instruments blend that there seemed but one. There was indeed a rare "concourse of sweet sounds." In its turn each number of the program seemed best, but there were some selections whose beauty the audience will not soon forget.
