A New Church To Be Built

The new Trinity Evangelical Lutheran cluirch will be built on the corner of William street and Fifth avenue. The Chapin property was purchased for the new church on Saturday last. $4,000 being paid for the property. It is the intention of the church society to move the house on the property back on the rear of the lot, and refit itfor a parsonage. The plans for the new church have not yet beeu completed, but it is expected that the building will becommenced this summer. The new church was organized about two weeks ago with forty members, Rev. Tedrow being installed as the first pastor. The officers of the clmrch are Elders, E. TI. MenSel, F. H. Brown; deacons, CE. Newcomer, F.H. Belser. Mr. Mensel is secretary and Mr.Belser, treasurer.
