CuitAco, 111., April 10.- The Michigan board of world's fair managers has established a permanent olïice in the state building and will hold business meetings from now on untü the opening of the exposition. At a recent meeting of the board the building was accepted from the contractors, C. TI. Pelton & Co., of Grand Rapids. The building cost $20,000. The board decided to adopt Aprjl 29 as the proper day for dedicating building, and an interesting programme of exercises will be arranged. 1 nvitations have been issued to Presiüent Cleveland and the cabinet and other dignitaries in Washington, and a!so the governor of the state of Michigan, both branches of the legisl ature, juc'.ges of the supreme court, newspaper men and other prominent persons of the state. Installation of exhibits will begin the coming weck. The resignation of T. T. Lyon as chairman of tWe committec on pomological exhibit has been accepted, and Hon. C. J. Monroe, of South Haven, appointed in liis place. The resignation of Hon. Charles W. Garfield as superintendent of the forestry exhibit has been accepted and C. S. Hartman, of Grand Rapids, appointed in his place. Andrew Wilson, of Grand Kapids, lias been appointed janitor of the Michigan building'.
