Gronlund, the well known socialist, addressed a good sized audience consisting of membersof thePolitical Science Association, Monday night, and gave his ideas concerning Socialism, which is his life work. Mr. Gronlund is an enthusiastic advocate of socialism and predicts an early realization of his ideas, many of which are original. Among other things he said; "Socialisra is coming most certainly and it will wrong nobody." "It will necessitate public control of business, consequently there willbean absolute abolition of interest." "Socialism would be beneficial because (i) it would give security, abundance and freedom; (2) it will curtail certain liberties properly called license" "The wage system is slavery and should be abolished, which socialism will accomplish, by controlling laws of supply and demand."
