The version of Uncle Tom's Cabin interpreted by Stetson's Doublé Monster Company, which wiU exhibit Grand opera house, Ann Arbor,Monday evening next, has met tlie especial approval oí Mrs. Harriet Beecher Stowe, the immortal authoress of that worid f amed drama from the fact of Manager Stetson's adherance to the original text, which is a complete deviation from the custom of other Uncle Tom managers, who interpólate so many attempted ?ags, stale jokes and vulgar witticisms nto their ï'endition that scarcely n 'estige is left of the never to be loi - gotteu work. Aside from the great vorth of the company, every act v:ll be presented with new and elabórate cenery, painted by the master scenic irtists of the world. The excellentcompany, two coniical Topsies, the two ludicrous musical Marks, the elegant scenery, the novel mechanical effects, the ferocious bloodhounds, two brass bands and the celebrated Lone Star Quartet will all imite in making the engagement a most notable one.
