Veterans Cannot Vote

Gkand Rapids, May 7. - Judge Grove, of the circuit court, has decided in favor of the democrats by ordering a verdict of not guilty for the election inspectors who were arrested for refusing to accept the votes of fifteen inmates of the Michigan soldiers' home. The judge cited a decisión of the New York supreme court showing that no mangains or loses a residence by reason of his admission to a state institution, and they were, therefore, not entitled to vote heve.
