Death Of Michael Cowan

Michael Cowan died at bis home on he coraer of Main and William treets, Tuesday, of heart disease. &r. Cowan was born in Montgomery ounty, N. Y., in 1817. He removed o this county with bis parents wben ie was flftecn years of age and settled t Dixboro plains, on the first farm mrchased in that section. In 1849 Út. Cowan was married to Eliza hanghenessy, of Vermont. They ïad five children. Mr. Cowan was a espected citizen. The funeral serices were held at nine o'clock this morning at St. Thomas' chnrch.
