Miss Elizabeth Vernor, daughter of tev. George Vernor, was married on Vednesday, at half-past oue o'clock, o EImer Sutfin, of St. Louis, Mich., in St. Andrews ehurch, in tlie presence of a large company 'of relatives and 'riends. The ceremony was performed jy the bride's father, assisted by Rev. Ienry Tatlock. A sumptuous wedling breakfast was served at the home of the bride's fatlier, 45 S. División treet. After a wedding trip, Mr. and Hrs. Sutfin will settle down at St. jouis, wheie Mr. Sutfln is a practisiHg lentist. Miss Ilattie G. Nichols, daughter of )r. W. W. Nichols, was married Wednesday evening to Dr. D. M. Root, of Peoria, 111., a gradúate of the medical department last year. The wedding was solemnized at Dr. Nichols' home on Ilill street and Lincoln avenue, in the presence of the family and a few friends, Rev. Camdeo M. Cobern olliciating. The happy couple lelt on the eveninff train for Peoria, accompanied by the good wishes of numerous friends.
