Natural Gas In Michigan

Decatiií, May 14.- While diggmg a drain on the farm oí Ira Branch, the workmen struok a vein of natural gas. The extent of the find isnotyet known, but an export examination will at once be made. For some years it has been claimed that natural fías is underlj'ing southwestern Michigan and a number of wells liave been sunk at different times, some of them several thousand feet in depth, but no gas was found.
