Arbob Tent, No. 296- Meels on every Friday evening at eight o'clock in their hall in the Post Office building. Johnson Tent, No. 783- Meets on Wednesday eveninsr at eight o'clock in their hall, No. C N. Main street. Arbor Hive, No. ]13 - Meets on Tuesday evenfns at 7:30 o'cloek in the hall of Arbor Tent The Knights and Ladies together number no,ooo. Three new tents organized during the month ending May 15. The L. O. T. M. has increased 5,330 in the state since last October. The Great Camp meeting will be held in Grand Rapids in September. The Supreme Tent held its biennial review in Port Huron May o,th to i2th. There were 50,225 members of the Great Camp of Michigan on April 30. The welcome line "No Assessment This Month" headed the official organ this month. ARBOR TEXT. One application last Friday evenng- The next assessment will be called on June 15, to be paid by July 15. The Oriental was conferred upon seven Sir Knights, last Friday evening. About twenty-five came up from Ypsilanti to attend the Oriental banquet. Arbor tent is credited with 109 members on April 30 by the "Michigan Maccabee." It has been customary to meet but twice a month during June, July and August, but for this season the rule has been suspended and Arbor tent will meet on each Friday evening during these months. Following is the list of officers elected and installed at the Oriental meeting, Wednesday evening: G. O.- Myron H. Mills. G. M.- Willard S. Banfield. G. V.- Hobert F. Frost V. F. - Thomas Godkin. Herald - George Dengler. O. S. - Herman Kirn. Treas. - Wesley E. Howe. Secretary - Jno. O. Jenkins. G. A. P.- John Allen. The Oriental Knights held their semi-annual election and installation of officers, together with a banquet, on Wednesday evening. The degree was conferred upon three Sir Knights after which followed the election and then the very impressive installation ceremonies. The banquet was then served in true Oriental style to the eighty Orients present. As soon as the banquet was over the retiring" Grand Oriënt was presented with a large and artistic etching, which will ever remind him of the pleasant sessions over which he has presided. To say that it was a jolly crowd would be expressing it mildly; it was a most enthusiastic gathering and the evening was one long to be remembered by those who were fortúnate enough to be there. ARBOR HIVE. Two applications at the last meeting. Strawberry social next Monday evening. There was a short meeting on Tuesday evening before the hop. On Tuesday evening the Hive held another of its popular social hops. A large crowd was present and an enjoyable evening spent. There will be no meeting until June 6th, on account of next Tuesday being Decoration Day and also numerous other attractions in the evening.
