Baï, May 31.- ö. SUvola, tlie postmaster at Calumet. Mieh., was removed Saturday and the sureties placed Paul W. Grierson in charle. Inspector Puleifer made aainspection of the Calumet office and claimed to have found a shortage in the g-overnment funds of $2,301.77. This ainount was paid by the sureties and the removal of the postmaster followed.
