Saginaw, June 8. - Mrs. William Lake, wife of a well-known insurance man ef this city, jumped from an electrie car Friclay evening and was thrown against the Genessee avenue bridge, receiving1 injuries from whicfa sbe died an hour later. She had long taken ;i prominent part in the affairs of the Methodist Episcopal church in this city and state. She was president of the Woman's Foreign Missionary society of the Detroit conference and presided at the reeent annual meeting.
