Lansing, June 12. - The New York World has been taking a poll of the new eongress on the repeal of the Sherman law, an income tax and the repeal of the state bank tax. The following are replies from Michigan senators: 'From present inlormation I would under certain conditions favor the repeal of the Sherman silver law. I do not favor repeal of the state bank tax. James McMillan." "The Sherman law should be repealed as early as possible. We oannot pay gold for silver bullion. I prefer a protectíve tariff to an income tax. My ejperience with wiidcat and red-dog money would lead me to oppose the reDeal of the state bank tax.
