As is well known, this has been the most successful year in the history of the U. of M. Daily. This year's editorial board are to be congratulated for the excellence of their publication and for the growing interest in the Daily on the part of the students. Foremost among college dailies of this country, the U. of M. Daily may well be taken as standard, worthy of imitation by others. The U. of M. Daily will be the only college daĆ¼y at the World's Fair. The volume of the current year has been bound in the college colors. The back of the volumn is made up of a diagonal strip of yellow and blue cloth, resembling the U. of M. button, with edges of yellow and blue. Across the back is printed in gilt, "World's Columbian Exposition Edition." The volume is very pretty and appropriate and has been highly praised by all who have seen it. It will be placed with the U. of M. exhibit in the liberal arts building. F. J. Schleede is to be credited with the excellent work done on the binding.
