A Valuable Relic

Battle Creek, June 24.- Mrs. Jacob Crandall, of Milton township, Cass county, owns a Latín Bible that was printed in 1476. The volume is bound in oak covers with leather hing-es. The capital letters were all done by hand and the whole book of 503 leaves was printed one letter at a time. This ISible, with a number of ancient books, was inherited from Mrs. Crandall's father, John Brewer, a classmate of Henry Ward Beecher.
