Romulus Fortunate

"Romulus, Mieh., June 80.- (Special) T.ie activity here now in the way of iniildiiig and other improvement is remarkable. Two large factories are ia progress of eonstruction, streees are being handsomely graded and houses are being erected. One year ago there was not a single factory at this place; today there are two in full operation and the two now being built will be running before fall. The enterprises are a wire works, a door and window screen factory, a furniture factory and a knitting milis. In the year just expiring, many houses have been built and a large number of families have moved in. There is now not a vacant house and many families have been unable to move in on this account. The Pennsylvania railroad is going to build its line to Detroit via. Roniulus, thus adding materially to the shipping facilities. liomulus seems to be a coming large city.
