Park Projects Dependent On U.S., City Funds A decision on the proposed out-door stage and orchestra shell for West Park is due from federal andcity authorities early in the newyear, and, if undertaken, this proj-ect will be a major developmentin the 1937 park program. Various groups and organizations- in the city have indorsed theiect which is sponsored by theWest Side Women's Club. The club's presentation of the projectto the city council for considera-tion resulted in the formation ofa committee representative of thecouncil, club and other interested groups. The stagewould be a particular asset to the summer recreation program at theparks in the opinion of recreational leaders in the city.
