Bettton Harbok, Aug. 13.- The continued dry and hot weather has caused serious damage to peaches. Several thousand baskets have already softened, dried up and dropped from the trees for lack of moisture. Those who have early peaches realize soarcely enousrh to pay for the f reight and the baskets. The blackberry erop should have lasted two more weeks, but all the berries are dried up.
