Met an Awful Death.
Newaygo, Aug. 11.--Farmer Anderson, of Sheridan township, undertook to cross over a threshing machine while it was in motion and his foot slipping was caught and drawn into the cylinder. The limb was stripped of its flesh, the bones broken into a thousand pieces, and the tendons drawn out and wound around the cylinder so closely that it was impossible to extricate the man until the bolts were taken and the cylinder of the machine lifted out. He died in twenty minutes.
