The early varietiea of peaches were fairly eood, but the late ones are being badly injured. Many farmers are also obliged to haul -water for their stock. Wells and springs that were never knovm to fail before are now completely dried tip. Many pastures are withered and scorched until not a green spear is left ann stock has to be fed at the barn.
