White Caps At Charlotte

Charlotte, Sept. 20.- N. C. Kacey is a milk peddler. Severa] little girls by the name of Waller and Holden bothered him, it seems. by catching on bis wagon, and were put off. They complained to their relatives that Racey had mistreated them. The relatives tried to have Racey arrested, but the proeecuting attorney refused to issue a warrant. In the night a gang went to Racey's house, called him out and flogged him severely. Mrs. Racey carne to assist her husband and received several blows. The Raceys made complaint, and "William H., Edward anc William Waller, Seldon Marsh and Torn Holden were arrested for assault and battery. Great excitement prevails.
