Death Of Mrs. Clements
Mrs. James Clements died suddenly at 8:30 o'clock Sunday morning in a congestive chill. She passed a pleasant social evening with her friends the night previous and her death carne a a great shock to her friends. She va well and most favorable known in thi city where she had lived for man; years moving in the highest socia circles. The funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the residence 01 State street, and were conducted b; Rev. Mr. Tatlock. The honorary pallbearers were ex-Govenor Felch, Judge Cooley, Judge Kinne, Philip Bach, Edward Tread well, President Angell, E B. Pond and Prof. dePont. Mis. Cle ment left a husband and five cbildren, Miss Mary Clements of this city, Mrs. Ida Wheat, of Leavenworth, Kansas, Henry and William, of Bay City, and James jr., of Queensland.
