A Good Beginning
The Chequamegon orchestra had its first full orchestra rehearsal last night and organized for the year with the following menibers: Lew H. Clement, Director, lst Violin. Ralph Hartzel, '94 lavv, A-Long, Ross Spence, lit '97. 2nd Edson Sunderland, lit '90, " " Ross Whitman, lit '9(i, Viola. Wm. S. Smith, lit '95, ('ello. Ray L. Heller, medie '9ö, Bass. George Keech, lit '95, Flute. E. D. Hoyt, lit '96, Oboi. Ed. Foerster, law '9ö, lst Clarinet. Frank Case, 2d " George Collins. dent '94 lst Cornet. Chas. R. Vanderbelt, 'dent '94 2d Cornet. Geo. Vandavyarker, Trombone. Chas. F. Meyers, Drums and Traps. Other members are in contemplation and any competent, experienced orchestral musician can have the benefit of playing with the orchestra ty applying to'the director, 51 S. Main street. Especially are desired, French Hörn, Hassoon, additional Cello and Doublé Bass players, as well as er]ierienced violinists. It is intended to make this - the orchestra's thirteenth season - the most noteworthy and successful one ever known.
