Will Test A Coal Deposit

Sagina w, Oct. 11.- At a meeting held at the board of trade, $000 was appropriated to make a test of che extent of the coal deposit in Saginaw county. A private party has also put up $500 for the same purpose. An expert coal driller froni Ohio has been engaged and the work of making the test will begin at Foster's station on Flint river, eight miles south of this city.
