Abbor Hive, No. 113 - Meets on Tucsclay evenings at T::JO o'clock in the hall of Arhoi' Tent Arbor tent had a very interesting initiation last Friday evening. The next assessment will be called on the i5th, payable on or before Nov. j. Per capita tax for the first half of next year must be paid by December first. It is intended that the proposed Hive fair will be given about holiday time. The office of the Great Lady Record Keeper is now located in the Hamilton block. Only two months more and the members will be called on to elect a new set of officers. There are still quite a number of members who have not paid the last assessment. Better cali on the F. K. A card party was given on Wednesday evening at the residence of Sir Knight Minnahan. on Spring street. On next Thursday night the hive will give the first of a series of socials. Supper will be served from six until nine o'clock. By some new fangle in the mail laws, the Michigan Maccabee and the Lady Maccabee will probably be compelled to suspend publication. The members of Arbor tent will be pleased to learn that Sir Knight v -rdick has so far recovered from lus long illncss as to be able to leave Tuesday to visit his mother in Flint. A full attendance is desired at the meeting of Arbor tent, tonight, as arraneements will be made for tending the funeral of James M. Stafford at three o'clock Sunday afternoon. At the last meeting of Arbor hive Great Record Keeper Emma Bower presented her resignation as commander of the hive, but upon a unanimous vote it was declared not accepted. She will continue to be their commander as she would be greatly missed were she to insist on her resignation being accepted. :.y:í";;rvLííí!
